We learned with great sadness of the passing of Dick Rud, formerly of RPMco, Plano, TX. Dick died of complications from Covid on March 10. Founding Rud & Pickarts Marketing Company in 1979, Dick and his partner, Bill Pickarts, were long time members of MRA and great friends to many in the association. The business has been carried on by their sons, Eric Rud, CPMR; Bart Rud, CPMR; and Steve Pickarts, CPMR. Dick retired in 2009, spending his remaining time enjoying his ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren, while still checking in daily at RPMco to keep abreast of the industry. Our sincere condolences go out to his family. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
